I'm here to see the whiny WWE "HHH is ruining WWE" comments its hilarious. I hate watching them "mess up" but I keep watching no matter what because I don't know what else to watch. 😂
Imagine being WCW and having some of the biggest stars in the world and then the people in charge, who aren't wrestling people, want more and more celebrities in charge and want to keep bringing back old, worn out and irrelevant stars to try and push more and more merch and more and more tickets… Only to slowly watch the whole damn thing come crumbling down. Oh wait… That's not just WCW… Weird.
My hot take but also I think a good idea would be to cut the money in the bank PLE have the MITB be decided at mania again and then bring back the cyber Sunday PLE in the era where fans are so engaged I think it would be great to let fans decide the match types
In the Attitude Era, Vince lead a team with Bruce Prichard, Jim Cornette, Pat Patterson, Kevin Dunn, Jim Ross, Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara, but he was unquestionably the boss. He also owned the company until it went public, and even them he was the Chairman and CEO. He only answered partially to the USA Network and the limits the FCC had. Now they have shows on Netflix, ESPN, USA, Peacock, CW, Tubi and even Fox in Mexico for AAA. The WWE is not even its own entity anymore, but part of a much larger conglomerate that's TKO. The people in charge aren't even wrestling people but profesional executives who work under one of the biggest agents in Hollywood. Triple H does probably the best he can under the curcumstances. Some fans claim for HBK or Undertaker of Paul Heyman to take over, but they'd have the same issues. Only when the promoter and the booker are 100% on the same page can things work out.
It is that simple, if you don’t have a back up plan and a back up for the back up, then you’re not planning. You’re hoping. Why do characters have to be involved in a storyline and only that storyline? No one lives their life with a singular purpose and goal. Every character should have multiple angles/relationships happening so you can pivot for any given reason.
Triple H will do anything to avoid saying "it's my fault and I don't know how to book pro wrestling". Vince McMahon had a ton of faults and his last decade running WWE was atrocious dog shit(ask Roman covered in the dog food). But Vince knew to surround himself with others as smart or smarter than him in certain areas. Triple H has two of McMahon's yes men lackeys(Prichard and Hayes) and a lot of others who have no legit pro wrestling knowledge. They're only fans at best and not even the ones who know history or remember what real, good pro wrestling actually is. We can't blame TKO for everything because they're not the ones with an entire creative team.
7:41 tell me why you showed us that meeting between you and Dwayne in the arena at EC 2025 where Dwayne is pitching the story that SHOULD have been told going into WM 41.
My biggest issue with Triple H as head booker is WrestleMania 41 and allowing us to see part of the booking meetings for it after the fact on Unreal. They set up this grand story of The Rock wanting Cody's soul, Cody telling Rock to go F himself, and Cena turning heel for the first time in 20 years after a signal from The Rock. And then they did absolutely nothing with it. The entire 2 months from EC 2025 until WM 41, Cena's reason for turning heel was blamed on the fans. Barely a mention of The Rock. Then we get to WM 41 and The Rock doesn't up. Instead Travis Scott spends 5 minutes slowly sauntering to the ring to help Cena. Cena wins the title. Still no Rock. As head booker, Triple H should have fought the idea of Rock involvement in the story if there wasn't going to be an actual payoff with Rock in person. Stone Cold was there in Vegas unlike the previous year when Undertaker took his place. We could have had Rock come out to help Cena and then Austin come out to fight off The Rock, but despite his help, Cody still loses the match to Heel Super Cena. THAT is a much better story than the one we got.
Fast forward to WWE Unreal and we're shown a clip of Triple H and Rock talking ringside before EC 2025. Rock is pitching basically the story we thought we were going to get with his involvement throughout. Triple H is agreeing that it's a good plan. And then it doesn't end up happening that way at all. I don't give a damn if the Rock is on the Board of TKO, the Board of TKO shouldn't have ANY say in the booking of the product if their input objectively sucks.
My second biggest issue with Triple H as head booker is this mentality that every 1 night PLE should only have four 30 minutes matches on it. The thought is that these matches are more memorable to fans if they are longer and less of them. Sure, WM 35 was LONG and largely unmemorable, but there's a happy medium between that, and PLEs with 4 matches leaving half or more of the roster out in the cold not making PLE bonus money.
My third biggest issue with Triple H as head booker is the Women's Mid Card titles. They have existed for 2 WrestleManias now and neither of them were defended last year and this year only 1 of them is being defended. There's 7 matches on Night 1 and 6 on Night 2. A Women's US Title match could be slotted into Night 2 as a 7th match. Sami Zayn just won the US Title a few weeks ago and has a WM match, Guilia has held the Women's US Title for 103 days as of April 14, 2026 and hasn't defended it once.
I think we can confidently say WWE going into business with TKO is one of the worst decisions they've made in terms of creative. I'm sure they made a bunch of money but the show suffers so much because of them butting in.
People are actually so overreactive when it comes to the product, sadly there isn’t very much Nuance and respectful discourse in any entertainment medium espically WWE
Just like in many other industries, greedy corpo suits that has no idea wtf they're doing took over and try to run a business they have no knowledge in running, Triple H gotta book a show while pleasing like 5 different entities. WWE should've never gone public and TKO should've never existed
HHH is nothing but a sellout fraud. I completely stopped watching pro wrestling right around the pandemic era and only came back when Vince got the boot. I thought we'd be getting something like NXT Black and Gold. I knew it wouldn't be a full Black and Gold but holy shit. WWE/TKO makes WWE 2019(arguably the worst it's ever been) look like the Attitude/Ruthless Aggression eras. HHH is nothing but a spineless puppet for TKO. I'm back to not watching pro wrestling again and I don't miss it in the least bit
Stop whining. The customers give your company attention. Changing Stephanie's theme and now potentially Liv's are the kinds of things that just piss us off. The stories can be tolerated, but when you start changing theme music to save money it really gets to the point that we'll do something else with our time.
The biggest problem with giving people multi million dollar, multi year contracts? Now you have to deal with people who have multi million dollar, multi year deals. Artistic ones at that. Not an enviable position.

they call Trips the CCO but he's really high end middle management
and then he fired half the roster today
Invite roman one day
When everything was going great hhh was everywhere like wanted to know he is in charge now its going down hill its TKO😂😂
These guys aren’t masterminds, they could have done so many things differently and the business would be fine.
I'm here to see the whiny WWE "HHH is ruining WWE" comments its hilarious. I hate watching them "mess up" but I keep watching no matter what because I don't know what else to watch. 😂
Ok I haven’t watched wwe consistently but why do some fans not like TKO?
Imagine being WCW and having some of the biggest stars in the world and then the people in charge, who aren't wrestling people, want more and more celebrities in charge and want to keep bringing back old, worn out and irrelevant stars to try and push more and more merch and more and more tickets… Only to slowly watch the whole damn thing come crumbling down.

Its funny how triple always said what he does better than anyone is adapt and that theres always a plan B
But he’s in a tight situation with TKO
The last 5 minutes was directly about Bret Hart and you can’t convince me otherwise 😂😂
If anyone asked for a solution and as a normal fans, I would like to kick Bruce Pritchard and Michael Hayes from their current position in creative
Booking is hard when you’re a boring uncreative bald moron.

It's not difficult if you're responding to the audience and not to TKO's executives.
WWE SHOULD HAVE NEVER GONE PUBLIC

This interview was very quiet and awkward tho I thought it should be a little bit more comfortable 😅 but there is no energy at all

So now we're at the point where praise from nick khan means something to wrestlers Pfft!

TKO runs WWE😂 nice concept
Orange juice for his vodka 😂 we miss you brain 🧠
If they don’t turn Cody at Wrestlemania-yeah the booking doesn’t make sense.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Cody rhodes the biggest ass kisser😂
Fire Triple H, Cody Sucks

I'm digging Cody's "Joker Suit"

I love the both of you ❤️
Especially when TKO is sticking their nose in your creative, it makes the product terrible
TKO is killing the UFC and WWE
Killing KAYFABE

2:04 almost said fate but then change it to cosmic fate. All them are from "those families" even in wwe.
