Why are you focusing only on the Indian workforce in the US? I'm an American Senior Software Developer and have seen firsthand how Indian developers have impacted the US workforce since the late 1990's. I was RIFed in the early 2000s from this. Many of the Indian developers I worked alongside were just terrible developers (about 80%). And I was the one who was tasked to fix their bad designs years later. Yes, AI is impacting the whole IT industry, not just Indians. When my son went to college 10 years ago, I advised him to stay out of IT. My prediction is that this AI cycle is just like the Dot Com bubble. We just haven't seen its down cycle just yet.
